Anthony fell in love with comic books with the first issue he ever bought with his own money: Wolverine #1 by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller in the summer of 1982.  Thirty years later, Anthony came back to his childhood dream of creating comics, himself, with the publication of The F1rst Hero.  Three volumes and a crossover later, Anthony has struck out on his to self-publish his work under the banner of Aristocrats Comics.

From The F1rst Hero to Heroes of Homeroom C to Chance For Survival, Anthony’s journey through comics has given him the chance to work alongside such amazing artists as Jamal Igle, Ty Templeton, Ron Frenz, Ray Anthony Height, Phillip Sevy, Andy Belanger, Bill McKay, Jay Fosgitt, Carlos Granda and the late Lee Moder.

Anthony has also been indulging his own artistic skills with his semi-regular comic strips, Welcome to the Handsome Genius Club, and with freelance illustrations gigs for publishers like ECW Press and the West End Phoenix newspaper in Toronto.  He also wrote and illustrated the hilariously NSFW book, Strip Club Quotes, a collection of comic strips and quotes from his ridiculous “dayjob” as a strip club DJ.

In conjunction with his comic book work, Anthony can be seen as a guest at a number of comic book conventions around Canada and the United States.  As a regular at the Fan Expo brand of events, Anthony can also be seen regularly hosting sketch battles between big name artists and discussion panels with a host of top flight creators.

Anthony’s current focus is a return to the world of Heroes of Homeroom C.  Now planned as a three-volume series, Anthony has enlisted the return of artist Carlos Granda to continue the adventures of superheroes-turned-public-school-students Albert and Nicola Hathaway.  Volume 2 is currently scheduled for a fall-2024 release with Volume 3 following in late 2025.
