Last summer, in the wake of the murder of George Floyd at the hands of a quartet of Minneapolis police officers, Anthony was invited onto Toronto radio station Q107 to discuss the then-ongoing protests. The protests were taking place across the United States and in major cities around the globe, drawing the entire world’s attention and sparking continuing conversations about systemic racism and the future of policing.
In this clip, Anthony discusses why the anti-racism/anti-police brutality protests were/are necessary and how non-PoC can best support and participate because BLACK LIVES MATTER!
