A few years ago, I wrote a “bucket list” for use as the focal point of a vlog series. For those who don’t know, a bucket list is a set of adventures, experiences and personal goals, that the writer wants to accomplish before they die (aka “kick the bucket”). For the purposes of social media, there was a time limit set on this list of 1001 days.

I made plans to launch the project on my 50th birthday back in 2021. What I hadn’t been able to plan for was a global pandemic which stifled a great many of my goals.

But as the original end date for the list approaches, I’ve decided to do away with the time limit all together. The notion of a “bucket list” already includes a sort of time limit, doesn’t it?

So I’ve taken that list of 101 Things and removed the items that were only included because I thought they’d make good vlog posts.  I’ve also removed the ideas that just don’t mean quite as much to me: things that would be cool but aren’t really “must-do’s” for me.  Instead, I’ve added a small handful of new goals and am giving myself until the day I shuffle off this mortal coil to accomplish them.

Over time, I may add more to this list. I may also lose my passion for an item or two and remove it. Below, you’ll find the entire list.  Once each goal is accomplished, its listing will become a link to the video, photos or blog that details the experience.

Thanks for letting me share this with you,
Anthony
